Now that we have optimized the iso-read function in the libcdio library.
This post is about getting my patch upstream, which is a bit different from the typical pull request in github. So for our upstream we are going to visit the GNU website and submit a patch.
How do we do that?
We submit a form with patch details summary, priority, privacy and specifically which command is ito be patched.
For our patch we have had done the tests for iso-read and have done speed test specifically for the extract command inside iso-read. So this information will be input in the summary section of the patch submission and I will attach the Makefile in which I modified.
Click Submit. Now to wait and see what they say!
